Non-Governmental Organization Evangelization, Social Assistance, and Development
Since 2006, the Non-Governmental Organization Evangelization, Social Assistance, and Development (ONG EASD), founded by Augustin Ilunga Ntambo in Lubumbashi, Haut-Katanga, has driven impactful projects across five sectors. Based at No. 55 Avenue II, Kaponda-Nord, Katuba, we transform lives through sustainable initiatives.
In 2013, ONG EASD built the 120-bed Saint Augustin Clinic, offering laboratory, maternity, surgery, intensive care, internal medicine, and pediatrics services. This facility has saved lives and continues to serve the community, with plans for capacity enhancement.
Two schools were constructed in 2011, with extensions in 2018 and 2019. The final floor, planned for 2020, remains unfunded. These schools educate hundreds, fostering future leaders despite ongoing funding challenges.
Launched in 2016, a 60-hectare pilot agricultural project grows maize, shifting to crop diversification in 2023-2024 with drip irrigation. This initiative combats hunger, creates jobs, and promotes sustainable development in Katofyo 2.
Prioritizing democracy, child protection, and gender-based violence prevention, ONG EASD conducts school trainings. These empower communities to defend rights and combat oppression, upholding majority rule as a democratic pillar.
ONG EASD passionately protects the environment, designing projects aligned with UN standards for fauna and flora conservation, addressing mining impacts and ensuring a healthy ecosystem for future generations.
